Andrew, Pete, Iris, Matt and I took advantage of the sunny warm weather to hiking in to North Wall for some easy early season climbing. By mid afternoon it was t-shirt weather. After ticking off Route A,B and C we moved to Cave Wall to climbing Neruda. While setting up, a huge chunk of ice came off the adjacent wall which sent us running for cover. We manage to get out of the way as the ice crashed into our gear. Nothing was damaged; some dents in my thermos and ice in my climbing shoes was the worst of it. After moving out of the potential fall zone we finished Neruda. All and all it was a great day.
